Workday puts benefits engagement closer to the employee workflow

Workday announced on 11 August 2025 that Workday Wellness had been recognised as a Top HR Product of the Year by HR Executive. The company described an offering designed to connect employers with wellness providers and help them understand which benefits employees want and use.

The commercial relevance goes beyond the award. Workday’s proposition places benefits discovery, access and measurement within an established enterprise environment. That addresses a practical problem: purchasing a service does not necessarily mean that employees know it exists or can use it easily.

Our interpretation is that engagement is becoming part of the infrastructure of employee benefits. When organisations can see how services are used, suppliers have a stronger reason to demonstrate their relevance. Clearer discovery may help a useful product reach more people, while better measurement may make renewal decisions more demanding. Both effects can favour companies that execute well.

JAAQ’s focus on connecting people with trusted information makes this a relevant market development.
